仲由。朱壽昌かと思ってしまいますが。出迎えてくれたのが母親だけでなく父親もいますから仲由ですね。朱壽昌なら母親だけ、もしくは母親と母親の従者で、父親は登場しません。日本人の描く仲由は米俵を背負っていることが多いですが、中国の絵だと、この挿絵のように布の袋のことが多いです。

Carrying Rice for Parents
Chung Yiu, alias Tze Lu, of the Chou State
had a poor family, who used to feed themselves
on caltrop and luguminous(leguminous?) vegetable. He had
to carry for his parents rice obtainable from a
hundred li far away to support them.
On thier death, he made a tour to the Sou-
thern State Chu where there were a hundred
attendant charions(chariots?), ten thous and(thousand?) bushels of
stored-up rice paddy, siats(seats?) with heavy cushions,
and tripod after tripod of valuable food. With
such impression, he sighed by saying, "Alt-
hough I wish I could eat vegetables and carry
rice for my parents yet now it is impossible."
