Allowing Mosquitoes' Bite to Saitsfy(Satisfy?) Thirst for Blood
When eight years old, Wu Meng of the Chin
dynasty served his parents very faithfully.
With a poor family, there was no curtain for
their bed.
In summer evenings, the mosquitoes used to
croud(crowd?) on his skin, indulging themselves in
satisfying thirst for blood; and he would not
drive them away, though numerous, for fear
that they might fly away to bite his parents.
To the fullest extent his love for parents reached
in deedl(?).

晋の代に呉猛といへる人八歳のころより親に孝あり 家もとより貧しかりしとなり 榻（とう）とは臥床のせまきを云なり ねところの台なり 帷帳とは「かや」の類なり 貧なればさるものなし つねに夏の夜は蚊おほく集まりきたるを 呉猛これをおはず ほしいままに おのれが血をすはせて 飽きたらしむ 蚊のきたること おほけれども をはざるは もし己を去て 親を噬（ささ）んことをおそれてなり おやをいとほしむの心至て深きよりおこれりと
