served as the imperial historian in the raign(reign?)
of Yuan Yn(1086) Though noble and distin-
guished, he waited on his mother very sincerely;
for his character was exceedingly dutiful.
Every evening he did all the servile labour
himself, such as cleaning his mother's commode.
Never was there once he failed to fulfill the duty
as a san(son?).

滌親溺器 「尿器の洗浄を自分で行う」
宋の黄庭堅は、元祐（1086年）に皇史官を務めましたが、高貴で名声がありながら、その性格は非常に従順で、母に心から仕えました。
毎晩、母の便器を掃除するなど、下働きはすべて自分でやりました。息子としての義務を果たさないことは、一度もありませんでした。
